I knew football fans were sometimes fanatically but this still seems a little crazy. Brett Favre was traded to the New York Jets last night. Since then, over three thousand green number four jerseys have already been sold. That’s a single day record, and it’s reportedly still climbing.
According to TMZ, Brett’s Packers jersey is the highest selling piece of merchandise in the NFL’s history. Cinema Blend has stayed out of the media-palooza thus far that’s surrounded the quarterback, but we couldn’t resist commenting on this. Never underestimate either the die-hard devotion of pigskin fans or how much disposable income the average middle-aged white guy has.
Here’s Brett Favre in There’s Something About Mary…

I don't think the Jets fans have the patiance for Farves misteps, most likley to be early while he is still learning the new system. Im not sure this is a good fit for him, this late in his carrer. Im also not sure about his emotional state. Having said that, he will alway's be one of the best that ever played.
I am a life long packer fan no more.Until Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy and Murphy are gone I will be a Jets fan. They truly underestimated the Packer fans loyalty and love of Brett Favre. They treated Brett like he was a nobody. No respect whatsoever.Brett will give the Jets 100% everytime he takes the field. The winningest quarterback ever elevates the play of everyone around him.Goodbye Brett, Wisconsin will miss you.
