It’s Ron Howard overload. Universal Studios plans to release a DVD box set showcasing four of the films directed by this Academy Award winner. Looks like Richie Cunningham has come a long way since he wrote for the Jefferson High Bugle.
According to DVDTown, the nine-disc collection features the films Backdraft (1991), the theatrical and IMAX/dts versions of Apollo 13 (1995), A Beautiful Mind (2001), and Cinderella Man (2005). All of these selections are accompanied by a significant number of bonus features including deleted scenes and feature commentary. You can check out the full list of Bonus Features below.
The big release date for The Ron Howard Spotlight Collection is set for the 25th of November and will be sold for $39.95.
