European gamers won't be the only ones getting collector's editions of Assassin's Creed 3. Today Ubisoft detailed a Limited Edition of the game for PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers in North America and Latin America. PC gamers have a special bundle to look forward to as well.
The AC3 LE is priced at a hefty $119.99. In addition to the game, it comes with a 9.44" statue of Connor. You can further decorate your room with a 28"x48" colonial-style flag inspired by AC. If you'd rather show your fandom in public places, you can wear a metal belt buckle with the Assassins' emblem.
PC gamers, meanwhile, will be able to purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition from digital retailers for $64.99. It seems like a much more compelling package than what console gamers are getting, honestly. In addition to being cheaper, it's filled with actual in-game content, like three single-player missions, two single-player outfits, and two multiplayer characters. Also, you'll get an assortment of songs from previous AC games and "George Washington's notebook." The latter should provide you with some additional insight into the game's plot.
The trade-off for PC owners, though, is that they'll have to wait longer in order to get AC3. The game's scheduled to arrive on the PS3 and Xbox 360 at the end of October but it's undated for the PC.
