Today EA officially announced the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 beta that had been prematurely revealed earlier in the week. PS3 owners will get the first crack at it but PC and 360 gamers will get their chance to play the game as well before its release.
The PS3 beta begins on November 19th. It will allow you to play 24-player Rush matches on Arica Harbour, one of the multiplayer maps from the full game. Rush mode is the equivalent of Gold Rush from the first Bad Company, with two teams competing to secure crates throughout the battlefield.
If you live in North America, pre-ordering through GameStop will guarantee you access to the PS3 beta. European gamers will have to stay tuned for further details. EA plans to give away keys through Playstation Blog as well.
According to the official BC2 website, a PC open beta is slated for "early December." A multiplayer demo for PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 will be released in early 2010. Bad Company 2 hits stores on all three platforms in the first week of March.
