Blizzard Entertainment is still working on the secret MMO codenamed "Titan" revealed a few years back. At a World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria launch event, chief creative officer Rob Pardo confirmed that they have a large team already in place on the project.
"We are definitely in the middle of development at this point. The team is over 100 people now," Pardo told Curse in a video interview (below). He added that "core development" has been taking place for about four years now. The team was much smaller at the time, though.
Very little is known about "Titan" so far other than the fact that it's an MMO. Blizzard previously stated it's not a sequel to any of their existing franchises, though. Don't expect World of Warcraft 2.0, in other words. Pardo isn't sure when they're going to release additional information.
Last year Blizzard COO Paul Sams said that "Titan" was already playable. Nonetheless, in this interview Pardo cautioned that the game still "has a long way to go."
In the meantime, Blizzard is still supporting WoW with new content. Mists of Pandaria, the fourth expansion pack, went live throughout the world on Tuesday.
