Chair Entertainment is no longer developing a video game adaptation of sci-fi novel Ender's Game. They've shelved the project in favor of creating new IPs.
"We have and had an amazing design for the Ender's Game game," Chair co-founder Donald Mustard told Joystiq. However, "one of [parent company] Epic's primary objectives is to create original and unique franchises. I don't know that Ender's Game fits into that strategic objective anymore."
Added Mustard: "So, probably not. Not from us."
Ender's Game would've been the second time Chair made a game connected to novelist Orson Scott Card. Their Xbox Live Arcade game Shadow Complex bridged the gap between two of Card's novels, Empire and Hidden Empire.
