Even though Atari has been having a tough time with the finances, and staying in the triple-A publishing game, they certainly don't seem to be aiming to disappoint with the new Chronicles of Riddick game. Thankfully it's not movie-based, per se, and is geared more-so toward the further telling of what happened after CoR: Escape from Butcher Bay. And to keep gamers psyched for the upcoming title, Atari has released a new debut trailer for the upcoming game.
Easily, this has got to be the best work Vin Diesel has done since the original Pitch Black, and that's a long freaking time ago. The trailer doesn't explain much about the story and shows off very little of the gameplay mechanics, but it's already apparent that this FPS title will rock hard. The trailer is spot-on amazing and contains some really awesome cinematic sequences. Let's just hope Starbreeze Studios can pull off another victory in the Pitch Black franchise, because we all know how badly Vinny D could use a positive boost in his waning career.
