Published by Microsoft (who seems to be keeping very silent these days), and designed by TikGames, Interpol is an adventure title mirrored on the likes of Mystery Case Files, and other clue-finding games. I'm not exactly sure why the game was so top-secret for so long, but we have all the details ripe and ready for gamers to read.
“Finally, gamers have the opportunity to play a hidden object game via Xbox LIVE Arcade and cooperate with other crime-fighting agents globally," said TikGames' CEO Anatoly Tikhman. “We're very excited to be the first to bring this highly-engaging genre to the platform and fully expect worldwide crime rates to plummet on launch day in response."
I'll be honest, it looks like a desperate plea for attention after Nintendo's DS acquired the fan-favorite casual game, Mystery Case Files. Games like this are often fun for about twenty minutes, and then they start handing out headaches like free passes to a Vanilla Ice concert. The reason for this is that there's tons of items cluttered on the screen, and it's up to gamers to find specific items within a designated time-frame. I'm trying to figure out how people don't get eye-sores while playing these kind of games. Still, I'm sure a lot of gamers welcome such point-and-click titles with open arms and a bottle of Asprin.
