Hype Mega Man 9: First Details And Screens on N4G
Mega Man 9: First Details And Screens Yes. Yes, yes, YES! Somebody out there must actually like me, as crazy as that may sound. The same day that I hope and inquire of Capcom to give us some real screens and info on Mega Man 9 and it happens. As I had suspected the 8-bit retro style title isn’t using a gimmick to mask what is another crappy Mega Man game. This is a tried and true old school, kick your ass and make you cry, game starring the blue bomber.

GamesRadar has the exclusive first look at Mega Man 9 for WiiWare. What do the good folks over there have to say? The simple answer is that MM9 is a true sequel to the classic series. You fight the robot bosses, take their weapon of choice, and use them against the other bosses. There’s no linearity to how you tackle the game so you’ll have to figure out which weapon works against which boss. You haven’t had fun until you’ve finally made it to a boss only to discover that all you have is your normal blaster and quick fingers to try and beat him.

Or her. GamesRadar has confirmed that there is indeed a female boss bot. Everything about this game is sounding outstanding. After so many years of being let down by Mega Man, and taking a general “no thanks” approach to the pathetic spin offs, I can finally wrap my hands around a controller and make my way through a brand spanking new Mega Man game. Fall can’t get here soon enough.
