Warhammer Online Dated, Pre-Order Details Revealed

A week and a half ago, we knew what month the game would release in. Now we know the actual date. Warhammer Online, the MMORPG based on the popular tabletop series, will hit stores on September 18th. EA Mythic's throwing all sorts of bonus crap at you if you pre-order, too.
Pre-order customers will be able to register for the open beta, which begins on August 15th. Beta characters for MMO's get wiped when the game goes live, but EA is also instituting a "Head Start program" for gamers who pre-order. Basically, you'll get to play the live game before September 18th and get a early start on your questing. No mention on how early of a start you'd get. I expect it to be a few days, if that. Still, nice to know you'll get a chance to work on your permanent character and experience the live game before the crushing weight of the release date crowd crashes the servers (just gazing into the crystal ball, there). Additionally, you'll get two in-game items. The first item is called Rittenbach's Personal Camp, which allows you to "rest your weary soul and heal your wounds between battles." I assume that means you regain HP and mana (or whatever the Warhammer equivalent is) quicker. You'll also receive a ring that enhances your stats and adds magical damage to your attacks. The exact type of magical damage the ring will do depends on the retailer you pre-order from. It's probably not that big of a difference which of the three "flavors" of ring you end up with but here's a run-down of which retailers offer which ring if you really care about that sort of thing.
