Call of Duty: World At War didn't stray too far from Call of Duty 4. Still, the game could really set itself apart from the preceding game with unique DLC and that's just what Activision is promising.
"It's not going to be what we've done traditionally. I'll leave it a little bit mysterious," said WaW executive producer Daniel Suarez. Whatever the DLC ends up being, Suarez hopes they release two or three content packs. A specific announcement about the first batch will come early next year.
Suarez added that the DLC won't be weapons or multiplayer maps from Call of Duty 4. Unless, of course, the new content is a map editor, in which case gamers will quickly churn out remakes of the COD4 maps on their own. Personally, I'm hoping for more Nazi zombies.
