Chloe Moretz And Paddy Considine May Star In Zombie Film Maggie

It would seem that Chloe Moretz is starting to become drawn to projects that let her play with the supernatural. A couple years ago she starred as a vampire in Let Me In, this weekend she appears alongside a vampire in Tim Burton's Dark Shadows, and she's set to play the titular character in the telekinetic horror remake of Carrie. Well, she's not done yet because she's now ready to hop in bed with another gothic flick.

Variety reports that Moretz and Paddy Considine are in line to star in Maggie, a new zombie horror film. The movie is being made by director Henry Hobson, who, after a career in making commercials, will be making his directorial debut. The script was featured on the Black List - an annual list of the most popular unproduced screenplays in a given year - and was written by John Scott 3 (I'm not 100% sure why he has a number in his name).

As you could have probably predicted by now, the movie is set in a post-apocalyptic earth where a father (Considine) works to protect his daughter (Moretz) against the ever-coming zombie hordes. The title refers to Moretz's potential character and the trade doesn't give a name for Considine's.

Now I just find myself looking forward to the day that Moretz is cast in a Frankenstein movie (there more than enough in development for her to latch on to one) or maybe even the Mummy reboot. Just something that will help her complete Monster Bingo.
