Early world on Disney’s new movie Enchanted is shaping up to be pretty good. CB regular Luthien found her way into a test screening last week and came back with a lot of exclamation marks. She says, “It was SO CUTE!!!! Loved it! Equal parts of cheese, laughs, and heart. I would gladly pay to see it again. I'm not just saying that because I'm a sucker for fairy tales. There were just the right amount of musical numbers, and I didn't feel brow-beaten by the love story. There were a lot of New York in-jokes, which made parts of it utterly hysterical.” Sounds pretty good.
Meanwhile with the film due out November 21st, Disney is really getting down to the business of promoting it. They’ve just sent us a massive new gallery of Enchanted stills, and a brand new featurette on the movie’s place in Disney’s legacy which ought to give you Disney geeks something to groove on. Watch the featurette here, and click on any of the thumbnails below to see our entire Enchanted image gallery.

LOL If I had known that I was going to be quoted, I would have tried not to sound so much like a silly schoolgirl :D
I did love the movie, though. It was fun, lighthearted, and didn't take itself too seriously. The wonderful thing about "Enchanted" was that it didn't try to make itself anything other than what it was: a silly little story about fairytales and finding true love. It was nice that the filmmakers were able to poke fun at the Disney "genre" without straying too far into parody.
