First Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs Image

There was a period, some time in the 80s, when “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” was by far my favorite book. Somehow I doubt it’d have the same appeal if I read it again as an adult, luckily I don’t have to since it’s being turned into a big, splashy, Hollywood animated film.

Sony has just released the first still shot from the film, and there are no meatballs to be found. There is however a guy with wacky hair and a well dressed girl. I’m sure the meatballs are coming.
