When I got the definitive Twin Peaks series on DVD about two years ago, I was so into it that I found myself watching the special feature on the real Washington town where the show was filmed. And I was so excited to see the actual sheriff's office and the Packard Saw Mill, and then so disappointed, because, well, it wasn't really Twin Peaks, was it?
I'm expecting the same to befall viewers of Twilight in Forks, a documentary visiting the real town of Forks, Washington, where Stephenie Meyer's books are set. The DVD comes out on October 15, and the movie's official site has posted a brief teaser, in which one resident proclaims that no vampires live there, but another seems more skeptical. There are also shots of scenery that you may or may not recognize, given that the films are not shot in Forks at all.
Check out the teaser below if you're interested, though I'm betting this is a Twihard-only kind of thing.
