Adam Sandler does not belong in fantasy movies. He’s weird enough without surrounding him in magic. Give him a mullet and let him catch fish in his ass cheeks, that’s where the man belongs. Still, the first image just released by Disney for his new fantasy flick Bedtime Stories is kind of pretty.
Bedtime Stories casts Sandler as a hotel handyman who has the bedtime stories he tells his niece come to life. Rather than freaking out and quitting with the storytelling, Sandler decides to take advantage of his newfound ability to achieve some of his own aspirations by working them into the story. I guess he tells the kids a story about how he gets a lot of money or something. Judging from the picture below, it ends up raining Everlasting Gobstoppers instead. Somebody call Willy Wonka:
