The first, incredibly compelling trailer for the Ron Howard directed movie Frost/Nixon is here. Unlike most movies about Nixon, this one takes place after he was kicked out of the presidency, for the villainy of Watergate. It retells the story of a series of television interviews between British talk-show host David Frost (played by Michael Sheen) and Tricky Dick (Frank Langella), which took place after his resignation.
I’m not entirely sold on Langella’s Nixon impression, but Michael Sheen will really grab your attention. Watch the trailer below and watch the movie in theaters December 5th.
UPDATE: Universal requested we remove the original international trailer which was posted here, but have given us the brand new, domestic trailer in its place. It's the same trailer, just without the subtitles. Watch it below:

I can't wait to see this film. It was one of the five best plays I've seen in twenty years when I saw it on Broadway. Sheen and the marvelous Frank Langela were astonishing! I know this cast and Howard will give us a real treat for the holiday.
Besides Sheen and Langela, I am most anxious to see Matthew Macfadyen. He is one of my favorite actors. Does anyone know the release date on this one? It seems to keep getting pushed back.
