I knew The Dark Knight teaser poster that Warner Brothers foisted on us a few weeks ago was pretty crappy, but I didn’t realize just how crappy until I saw the film’s incredible, eye-popping, international teaser poster.
Here in America we’ve been stuck with a piece of crap faux-brick thing with magic marker, or maybe it’s Colorforms (Come on, anybody remember Colorforms?), all over it. Overseas, they get a heart-stopping, panoramic piece of artwork which… unlike the American poster… gasp… actually has Batman on it. I guess the WB's overseas marketing departments, unlike their American one, are aware that the movie is supposed to be about Batman, and not the Joker.
