This summer features the return of Indiana Jones, Batman, and The Hulk. Considering it’s hip to revive old franchises, you have to figure that just about any previous idea that lasted beyond a single movie is probably being considered for a revival. That isn’t completely the case, however, at least in the case of one time traveling adventure.
Recently, Bob Gale, Writer/Producer of Back to the Future appeared at a Q&A session to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Before the first question could be asked, Gale addressed the inevitable: ”Let me answer one question before anyone asks it, which is, 'Is there ever be a Back to the Future Part IV?'" Gale’s simple answer came in one word:"No., according to BTTF.com.
Oddly, the response wasn’t the excited thrill of a franchise that wouldn’t be messed with like you’d expect. Instead fans that were present grumbled about not seeing Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel through time again – a response Gale quickly addressed. ”We've all seen sometimes where they make one too many sequels and you say, 'Maybe they shouldn't have done that.' I'm not going to name any names of movies, but you know what they are!” I’m sure the timing of the Q&A session, the same weekend Indiana Jones resurfaced, had nothing to do with that statement.
Gale stands by his decision, which comes from the creators of the franchise, not the studio. ”I'm sure Universal would love it if we were to say to them, 'Hey, let's do another one,' but we don't think we could ever make a fourth one that would live up to how great the first three are, so we're going to leave well enough alone." Of course, not messing with the trilogy sadly isn’t the only reason to keep from creating a fourth picture. ”I'm sure you all know, Michael J. Fox is not in the best of shape with his Parkinson's. The idea of making another Back to the Future movie without Michael J. Fox — you know, that's like saying 'I'm going to cook you a steak dinner and I'm going to hold the beef.' You can't do that."
I have to respect a producer who is giving up the opportunity for an automatic box-office draw in favor of maintaining the integrity of the existing storyline and the actors involved. I, for one, have zero interest in a fourth Back to the Future flick. I love the trilogy as it stands, but let’s just leave it there.

Exactly. I would totally be up for a BTTF 4, but only if Michael J. Fox was well enough and starred in it. Having a sequel without him is not worth it and of no interest.
I have to say, "Bravo, Mr. Gale!" The Back to the Future trilogy should be allowed to stand just as it is - a Trilogy. There really is not a need to revisit this storyline on the big screen, regardless of Michale J Fox's health. If you want to see Marty and Doc Brown travel through time just pop in the DVD. It's nice to see someone willing to leave well-enough alone. This way Bob Gale can hopefully produce an ORIGINAL film instead of an unnecessary sequel or remake.
What if Marty (MJF) was kidnapped by the government, who investigated the plutonium theft (FROM PART 1) and hid him in the dinosaur age. In 2015, Marty Junior (shia labeouf) becomes concerned for his fathers well being. Marlene and jennifer come into the picture. The government found out, about Doc's deal with the terrorists, and found the wrecked Delorean in the train tracks. In 2010, they kidnapped Marty, as they realised what Doc's intentions was, some years later. They use Marty as an experiment for time travel. But in the period of thye dinosaur age now, he's 77 years old. Marty Junior teams up with the Doc of 1985 to go search for his dad, through the space time continuum. 2015, some how doesn't have a hover conversion, which will cause a paradox for parts II AND III. They travel to 1955 and 1885 to find out the problem, other times in the 20th century and far into the future. a couple of glitches and happening take place during the time travels and this will continue into parts V AND VI. 1895 Doc, Jules and Verne , appear at some point during the second trilogy. And clara holds a secret. Not intentially bad though. Part VI will see a rip in the space time continuum. Marty (mjf) is found, but a mad goverment agent, intends to blow up the asteroid which will wipe ou the dinosaurs, meaning dinosuars live on and humans won't exist. The rip in the space time continuum, is caused by constant time travelling and people and different species, go through time holes causing mayhem. The mcflys, browns and tannens need to fix it , or it's bye bye universe, meaning PARADOX!!! This would be a good part to be for michael j fox as an old man, seeing as he wouldn't lose his character and the memory of the original trilogy. Claudia wells or shue could reprise their roles as jennifer. Lea thompson and tom wilson could play different parts. even crispen glover. Who could be Marlene? Questions and unsolved mysteries of parts I, II AND III could be answered in the new trilogy, from altenate selves, alternate realities, no hover conversions, government agents, libyan terrorists and the truth behind Doc's vision of the flux capacitor and rips in the space time contiuum. Parts IV, V AND VI will end the franchise on a high.
Would NEVER be the sam without Michael J Fox & the original cast.
But what about a film linked to BTTF???
A Time travelling DJ that has to go back in time to change the past!!!
The DeLorean is gone the train saw 2 that but now we have a GSXR600 - two wheels instead of four. Twice the speed, twice the trouble, twice the fun.
When this baby hitz 176mph ur gonna see some serious sh*t!
