We've got an update on the story that ran yesterday about Sony picking up the rights to the Angels & Demons-esque book Angelology. While the trades were only reporting that Will Smith and Marc Forster's production companies would be co-producing the project, this week's Production Weekly says that Forster will be directing the film as well.

That means that Forster, after taking a leap into action with Quantum of Solace, will be staying there, rather than returning to something smaller like Monster's Ball or Finding Neverland. The only problem being that pretty much no one liked Quantum of Solace better than the Bond movie that came before it. Is Forster really well-suited for action? Or should we just assume that, so long as it's not as boring as The Da Vinci Code, Angelology will be just fine regardless.
