New Red Band Trailer For The Devil Inside

January is typically seen as one of the worst movie months of the year, but now it seems like it's becoming the perfect month for studios to release possession-themed horror films. Last year, Warner Bros. released Mikael Hafstrom's The Rite, starring Anthony Hopkins, and it was actually moderately successful. Number one at the box office in its opening week, the film went on to make its budget back domestically and triple it internationally. Paramount is following the same formula for The Devil Inside, set to drop on January 6, and today we have a brand new red band trailer for the flick.

Check it out below.

A found footage film much like Paranormal Activity or The Blair Witch Project, The Devil Inside begins twenty years ago when a woman brutally murdered three people as a result of presumed demon possession. The film follows the woman's daughter (Fernanda Andrade) who travels to Italy to both visit her criminally insane mother and find out the truth about what happened that night. The film is written and directed by William Brent Bell and co-written by Matthew Peterman. To learn more about the movie, be sure to head over to our Blend Film Database.
