We’ve been hearing rumors that a fourth Resident Evil movie might happen for months now. As of tonight, consider them all confirmed.
Tonight ShockTillYouDrop heard from an “insider” at Sony that Resident Evil 4, which they’re calling Resident Evil: Afterlife is happening and will be in theaters on September 17, 2010. But we don’t have to take their word for it. The news also comes straight from Mila Jovovich’s mouth. In the comments section on Shock’s article, a helpful commenter posted a link to a YouTube video from April in which Jovovich is accosted by annoying paparazzi. If you stick with the video till the 1:20 mark, someone asks her about Resident Evil 4 and she confirms, “we’re going to start shooting by the end of the year.” So there you go. Resident Evil 4 happening and it sounds like Mila Jovovich is on board. Watch the video below:
