He’s said it before, but now he’s saying it again. A few days ago the guys over at AICN came out and flat out called William Shatner a liar, claiming that despite everything he and everyone associated with the film has said to the contrary, Shatner would be in the new Trek movie. That was subsequently picked up by every outlet on the planet, and taken as gospel.
Apparently Bill himself got wind of it, so as he’s done before, he recorded another video in which he categorically denies that he will be in the new JJ Abrams Star Trek movie, or that indeed he’s even talked to them about it. Shatner knows nothing more about the movie than the random guy on the street does, he’s totally out of it, uninvolved.
