Snow White And The Huntsman Trailer Features Battles, Darkness And Magic

The new teaser trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman has made its way online today and it does an excellent job of giving us a look at the story set to be told in this film. Beauty, battles and magic ahead!

When they said ‘teaser trailer,” I expected a few quick glimpses of the movie, mixed together with some special effects and a flashy title, but this trailer (courtesy of Apple), which clocks in at nearly two minutes, gives us a lot to look at from the movie, introducing us to the evil queen through her narration and setting up the story. Charlize Theron plays said queen, who learns that destroying Snow White (Kristen Stewart) will give her eternal youth and beauty. This prompts her to send a huntsman off to kill her. Things don’t go quite as planned as he ends up training Snow White in the arts of war.

Theron looks fittingly beautiful and evil as the evil queen, Stewart looks tough and determined, and Chris Hemsworth’s Huntsman appears to be fierce and fearless.

There are no shortage of special effects, and what we were shown so far looks really good, especially the birds and the knight that seemed to shatter when he was hit. The story also seems to be set up well. Needless to say, from what we’ve seen, this film won’t be a retelling of the Disney version of the story. It looks much darker and more exciting.

Apple has also posted four brand new posters for the movie which you can check out below:
