Millions of people tune in to watch the Super Bowl each year, and I wonder how many of them actually care about the game? Football may be popular, but the Super Bowl has become something that transcends the sport and now sucks in a lot of people who don’t care whether or not the New England Patriots defeat the New York Giants for their sixth championship. Those people are there for the commercials. It’s the one day of the year when Americans willingly sit down to have stuff advertised to them, rather than doing anything they can to fast forward through them.
Since we’re a movie site, the only thing we care about are the movie trailers. This year’s Super Bowl, more than any other in recent memory, was loaded with them. For those of you who got up to get a beer and missed one, I’m going to do my best to post all of them below as they become available online.
