Those of you who are looking forward to Beastly, the modern telling of Beauty and the Beast starring Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer, get excited-- but not too excited. We have the first teaser for the film, but it's a teaser in the most literal definition of the word, barely 30 seconds long and containing just a few shots from the film. You get a brief look at the transformation that Pettyfer's spoiled teen character undergoes, but given that images of that transformation have already been online, it's not much of a reveal.
Still, the dark tone of the trailer proves even further that the movie is aiming to be something more than just a fluffy Vanessa Hudgens vehicle, so I guess that's something. Check out the trailer below and look for more coming soon. Beastly comes out July 30 of next year.
