Warner Brothers is really getting deep into a viral marketing campaign for The Dark Knight. Earlier this week we told you about this website, featuring a fake campaign banner for Gotham District Attorney Harvey Dent. Well, now the Joker has his own site too right here.
If you go there, you’ll see the image to your right. It’s been defaced by The Joker, but that’s not what’s so interesting. If you give them your email and manage to enter the verification code correctly, the image degrades to reveal what looks like it is the first real photo we’ve seen of Heath Ledger all done up as The Joker.
The image you’ll get is posted below. There may be even more to the website though, so go there and try it out for yourself. Let us know what you find.

Those images have been taken down now, and replaced with a "Page Not Found". However, interestingly, click anywhere on the page first, then press ctrl + a. Very cool!
Not only that, once you have copied the entire page, go into a word processing program, paste the contents of the page, control + f (find), and select replace. In the find field, type "ha" and in the replace with field, type nothing, then hit replace all. There is an additional surprise!
Holy Shite!
I can't wait until this movie comes out
Can't wait till previews come out
looks like they went down the creepy road with the joker
I think heath ledger will do a good job
I hope so
Totally agreed with manuel, thats god awful. I pray to Christ above that somebody stops them from ruining Batman... AGAIN! Batman Begins was pretty O.K., lets not make another schuitmacher of this.
