We’ve got three clips from Tyler Perry’s new movie The Family that Preys. Like all Tyler Perry movies, odds are this one won’t be screened for the press. He’s kind of like a cult leader, and his followers will show up in droves for anything he puts out. Reviews are irrelevant. So if you’re not in his cult and you want to decide if his latest is worth your time, you’ll have to do it by digging through video.
What I’m taking away from the three clips below is that black people are smart and well dressed, while white people are cowboys. I suppose this is payback for allowing the Wayans Brothers to exist. Touché Mr. Perry. Touché.

I admire the fact that Tyler Perry makes films independently, but I question his talent. Every scene was very stiff and uninspired.
