Watch Deadpool, The X-Men, Gambit And The Fantastic Four Take An Epic Comic-Con Selfie

If you thought the famous Ellen DeGeneres Oscar selfie was incredible, then you’ll love the superhero version of that. To cap off the big Hall H panel for 20th Century Fox at San Diego Comic-Con, all of the Fox superheroes — including the X-Men, Fantastic Four, Deadpool, Wolverine and, yes, Gambit — congregated next to Marvel creator Stan Lee for one epic selfie to stand the test of time. Watch footage of the making of this selfie.

There were a lot of surprises at the Fox panel, including how bloody hilarious (and we mean that literally) Deadpool looks and the dark footage from X-Men: Apocalypse. So they needed to end as big as they began. Stan "The Man" Lee popped in to say hello to the Hall H audience and for an incredible photo op.

The photo featured the likes of Miles Teller (Mr. Fantastic), Kate Mara (Invisible Woman), Michael B. Jordan (Human Torch), Jamie Bell (The Thing), Toby Kebbell (Doctor Doom), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Gina Carano (Angel Dust), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Ed Skrein (Ajax), Morena Baccarin (Copycat), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), James McAvoy (Professor X), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Lucas Till (Havok), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Ben Hardy (Angel), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse) and Channing Tatum (Gambit). Phew!

Yes, the Jump Street and Magic Mike star also popped in at the last second to join the crew to complete Fox’s superhero cinematic universe. What was he doing there? I don't think we care all that much. Can you just imagine what a crossover movie with all these folks would be like? The Fantastic Four stars teased one to Cinema Blend, but we’ll see if it actually happens. Spoiler alert: it would be awesome.

The cast of Suicide Squad also did a selfie when they were at Comic-Con together for the Warner Bros. panel earlier in the day. But this one is more compact, if you will.

Fox has a busy slate on their hands. Fantastic Four is scheduled for release on August 1, Deadpool will hit on February 12, 2016, the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse is heading back to Canada to finish filming for a release set for May 27, 2016, Tatum will headline Gambit on October 7, 2016, and Jackman will reprise his famous role one last time for a third Wolverine movie on March 3, 2017. Lots of exciting stuff is coming in the next few years if you're a fan of Fox's slate, so stay tuned as we learn more.
