When The Next Wonder Woman Trailer Might Arrive
One of the things Warner Bros brought to San Diego Comic-Con this past summer was the first Wonder Woman trailer. At the time, the Amazonian heroine's solo movie was a little less than a year away from release, but the studio offered enough footage to get many people, longtime fans and casual moviegoers alike, excited for its release. Only three months have passed since that first trailer premiered, but now there's word that another trailer may be on the way that could arrive as early as next week.
The folks at Trailer Track noticed that Consumer Protection BC have classified a new Wonder Woman trailer, which suggests it could premiere alongside Doctor Strange when it hits U.S. theaters on November 4. Although, given how trailer releases usually go in the age of the internet and social media, don't be surprised if it came out a day or two early. As noted in the article, some have speculated a new preview would be saved for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, another Warner Bros movie. Studio synergy, after all. However, Doctor Strange is a fellow superhero flick, so that would another prime opportunity to show off a new look at Wonder Woman. Obviously we can't say with absolute certainty whether the new trailer will be attached to Doctor Strange, but since it's been classified, there's no doubt it's coming soon.
Wonder Woman debuted earlier this year in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as a mysterious individual who crossed paths with Bruce Wayne while he was investigating Lex Luthor. Although she claimed to have turned her back on humanity years ago, she later donned her battle gear and jumped into the fight against Doomsday. Following Superman's death, Diana will help Bruce find other metahumans to protect the world with them in Justice League.
Before that happens, Wonder Woman will wind the clock back 100 years, when Gal Gadot's Diana was still living on Themyscira. After Chris Pine's Steve Trevor washes up on the island's shore, Diana will leave her home and venture to the outside world with him. As World War I rages, she'll not only have to deal with otherworldly threats lurking in the shadows, but she'll also see humanity at one its darkest points. The rest of the main cast includes Connie Nielsen as Hippolyta, Robin Wright as Antiope, Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, Lisa Loven Kongsli as Menalippe, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Saïd Taghmaoui, Ewen Bremner and David Thewlis
