Sebastian Stan Is Getting Seriously Ripped For Infinity War, Check It Out

With the notable exceptions of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman), The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) can pretty much kick the ass of any human. That said, there's a substantial gap between holding the heavyweight belt on Earth, and standing up to a Mad Titan like the dreaded Thanos (Josh Brolin) -- particularly when he gets his hands on an Infinity Gauntlet. Bucky Barnes will need to beef up if he wants to help his fellow heroes out during the events of The Avengers: Infinity War, and it looks like Sebastian Stan has taken that idea to heart. The actor has already started bulking up for his upcoming adventure, and a video of his chest day looks downright painful. Check it out, below.

There's a healthy balance of isolation and compound movements in Sebastian Stan's workout routine, and it's pretty obvious that the guy has taken his training for The Avengers: Infinity War to the next level. Through a combination of chest presses, incline presses, and cable flies (among other sets that we likely don't even see in this short video), Stan pretty much immediately makes us all feel lazy for the intensity that he throws into his workout. The guy has always committed himself to his role as Bucky, and it looks like he's not slowing down going into his fourth outing within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While there are plenty of practical applications for a fitness regimen like this, it's also worth mentioning that Sebastian Stan's new workout routine will also directly help him develop a sturdy physique. After his longtime co-star Chris Evans got one of the most talked about scenes in Captain America: Civil War (you know, the moment in which he bicep curled a full-sized helicopter?), it's entirely possible that he wants to steal the show next time. I know I would.

Captain America Bicep Curl Sene

As exciting as this is, it still does nothing to answer one of our most pressing questions about Infinity War: how does Bucky join the fight? When Captain America: Civil War ends, Bucky is placed into cryogenic sleep in Wakanda (under the care of Black Panther), and he's still a wanted man for the murder of Tony Stark's parents. Even with Thanos coming down to Earth to wreak all sorts of havoc, things are going to have to get pretty bad for Steve Rogers to bring his friend out of hiding. If nothing else, this seems to promise that the upcoming Avengers film will ramp its stakes up to never before seen dramatic heights. Time to flex those muscles, Bucky!

Sebastian Stan will bring Bucky Barnes' muscles, marksmanship, and keen tactical mind to Earth's mightiest heroes when The Avengers: Infinity War debuts in theaters next year on May 4, 2018. Here is everything that we currently know about the upcoming Marvel team-up.
