Interesting Info We May Have Learned From The Avengers: Infinity War LEGO Sets

Avengers infinity war thanos

The first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War recently dropped, and the preview came packed to the brim with excellent moments. That said, we still don't know much about the overarching plot of the film, or the set pieces that we can expect. However, new information may have been released with Infinity War's official LEGO sets, and they seem to shed some new light on a handful of badass sequences and the characters that will team up in this summer's Marvel Cinematic Universe outing.

The first sequence teased by the official Avengers: Infinity War LEGO set is called "Attack of Riders." It involves Captain America, Black Widow, Outriders, and the Space Stone in a Wakanda-based battle. The next sequence teased by the LEGO leak is "The Search for Thor's Weapon," which seems to suggest that Thor (along with Rocket, Groot, and an unconfirmed Infinity Stone) will finally find a replacement for Mjolnir after its destruction in Thor: Ragnarok -- which is actually a scene that we have expected following the premiere of the recent trailer.

From there, the LEGO leak teases a sequence called "Corvis Glaive Attacks," which will see the member of The Black Order go after Shiri, Black Panther, and Vision in his quest to obtain the Mind Stone. Elsewhere, another LEGO set will show off "The Hulkbuster Fight," in which Falcon and Bruce Banner (but interestingly, no Tony Stark) will face off against Proxima Midnight in a battle for the Soul Stone, which we have recently guessed may be located in Wakanda.

Next up is a LEGO set called "Thanos: The Last Battle," which we can reasonably assume depicts the climactic fight in the movie. The scene includes Thanos, Star-Lord, Iron Man, and Gamora, and the set describes it as a "fight for the Glove of Infinity." Given the fact that the trailer already shows us a scene in which Tony doesn't look too happy in outer space, we're left to wonder if this scene will end badly for our heroes.

The final listed set of LEGO toys from Avengers: Infinity War is called "The Battle in the Sanctum Sanctorum," which features Cull Obsidian, Ebony Maw, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Spider-Man. Based upon the description and the characters involved, it seems that this could be the scene from the trailer in which we see Stark and Banner meet up with the mystic heroes in the Sanctum Sanctorum for a battle against Thanos' minions.

Before we go off and freak out about possible spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War based upon this information from The Brick Show, it's worth mentioning that none of these scenarios have received confirmation, which means that we have to treat all of this as speculative at the moment. Much of it already seems to line up with elements of the Infinity War story that we have seen from trailers and first-look videos, so we won't be surprised if this turns out to be accurate.

We will see if these LEGO sets line up with the real events of Avengers: Infinity War when the film debuts in theaters next year on May 4, 2018. For now, check out our handy Infinity War guide to keep yourself up-to-date on everything that you need to know about the film!
