Brie Larson Has The Perfect Post-Captain Marvel Trailer Tweet

This morning we got our first look at Captain Marvel in action, and actress Brie Larson is pretty excited about it. The first trailer for Captain Marvel hit the web today, along with a brand new poster. While we're certainly thrilled to get our first look at Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Brie Larson is even more excited to have us see it. More specifically, she's excited to have her family see it, as she tweeted out a special message to her mom after the trailer went live.

"Look mom, I'm a superhero" is probably the thought that every single person who has played a hero on screen has thought when they first got a look at themselves in full costume. It has to be a pretty amazing feeling to see yourself transformed into a character like this. Based on the reaction that everybody else is having to the Captain Marvel trailer this morning, I can only assume that Brie Larson feels like she can actually fly right now. With Captain Marvel being the first female hero to get a solo outing, this trailer is getting a remarkable response.

Brie Larson included the brand new Captain Marvel movie poster in her tweet, which includes the tagline "Higher. Further. Faster." It's a phrase that's been associated with Captain Marvel character in the comics and has made the jump with her to the big screen. It's a great looking poster which references the character's time as a pilot and shows her in full superhero garb. The only problem with it is that it reminds us we have to wait until March to actually see this movie.

Of course, there's likely to be a lot of details about Captain Marvel left to be revealed between now and March. While this first trailer gives us a solid look at the movie and Carol Danvers story, there's still a lot that we don't see. We know that the movie will deal with a Skrull invasion of Earth but the trailer doesn't really touch on that part of the story, instead deciding to focus on Carol Danvers attempts to piece together her past. It seems she doesn't actually remember her early life very much. The trailer shows that while Captain Marvel will start the movie with her powers, it will still be an origin story of sorts, as we see a lot of flashback scenes that will likely be sprinkled throughout the story in order to tell us how this new hero came to be.

It's going to be an excruciating wait as we get ready for the next big Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. March can't get here soon enough.
