The march to domination over humanity will begin with cute toys. We’ve been warily eying the trend of creepy Japanese robots these past few years, but have forgotten to look back home. In particular to a company who has been at the forefront of animatronics technology for decades. I, of course, am talking about Disney. Disney Consumer Products has announced a new line of robot toys.
Oh sure, the first one is a cute little reproduction of the titular character from Wall-E. And the little girls of the world will probably think Tinker Bell is just fantastic. But don’t be fooled into getting the mega awesome ultimate versions. The Ultimate Wall-E comes with 10 motors, sensors to get around the house and it can probably download laser eyes from the mainframe when the robot revolution comes. Instead go with the iDance WALL-E, which is a fraction of the price, and dances along to music. Tinker Bell will be able to fly, so don’t bother with that one.
While the robot revolution may be on the way, these are some pretty damn cool toys. And if you’d like to buy them when they come out over the summer you can visit Disney Shopping.
