Wipeout is a new game show where people compete in a huge “extreme” obstacle course in the hopes of winning a cash prize. Each episode features twenty-four new contestants. Their goal is to best each other in a series of crazy competitions like “Dizzy Dummy,” “Dirty Balls” (seriously) and “The Dreadmill.” Each week in addition to a totally new set of contestants, there’s also a totally new obstacle course and each week the winner wins $50,000.

This game show sounds like a grown-up version of Double Dare, set outdoors. People doing crazy stunts, potentially hurting themselves in the process in an attempt to win some cash? I’m thinking this show is going to be completely hilarious or totally stupid. It’s also possible that like so many other game shows these days, it could seem like the greatest thing ever for a few weeks and then eventually the novelty will wear off. Based on the promo below, I’m on the fence but I do think it would be worth it to check out the first episode.
