Brooklyn Decker Will Appear On FX's The League

Brooklyn Decker is adding another TV guest role to her resume. The actress, who already has a guest spot on Fox’s New Girl lined up this season, has just picked up a gig on FX’s fantasy football comedy The League, where her character is a beautiful but unpleasant figure from the past.

Decker will be playing old high school classmate Gina Gibiatti, who happens to be the younger sister of Frank “The Body” Gibiatti, and is just as mean. It seems she was cold and cruel back in the high school days, and she hasn’t really changed a bit. EW says Decker apparently took quite well to her role, where she “ripped our guys to shreds” according to League producers Jeff and Jackie Marcus Schaffer, who say she really is a nice person despite her on-screen ability to play the opposite.

Swimsuit model Decker has been working to make a name for herself as an actress, guesting on shows like Chuck and Ugly Betty over the past few years. She also starred in the big screen comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting with A-list names like Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez and the rest of the movie’s all-star cast. Her most recently announced gig is a guest appearance on New Girl, where she’ll play barfly Holly in an episode set to air in 2013.

The League is currently in its fourth season on FX, and usually sees mainly male guest stars from the football world, although Kristin Cavalleri did stop by to play herself in an episode earlier this season. The League airs Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET on FX.
