We’ve got a couple of clips from the episode, including the Office-themed digital short, introduced by original Office mastermind, Ricky Gervais as well as the Weekend Update clip featuring Senator McCain.
In what was easily one of the funniest sketches in the episode, Ricky Gervais (creator of the original UK version of The Office - which by the way, really does live up to the hype) introduces the digital short by first sharing a few opinions about the U.S. version of The Office. Then we get to see what the Japanese version of the show would look like. As Gervais points out, it’s funny ‘cause it’s racist. Seriously can they please get Gervais to appear in an episode or two of the U.S. Office? Please?
