Dwight Schrute Responds To McCain On The Tonight Show

Last week, Senator McCain jokingly revealed to Jon Stewart during an interview on The Daily Show that he was choosing The Office’s Dwight K. Schrute to be his running mate for the 2008 Presidential election. In case you missed it, we have that video here as well as the video of Rainn Wilson delivering Dwight’s response on The Tonight Show.Here’s the video of McCain telling Stewart that he wants Schrute to be his Vice President. If you want to skip past the rest of the interview, jump to around 5:38 in the video to see the Schrute part: This week on The Tonight Show, Rainn Wilson read a letter from Dwight Schrute describing his terms if he were to decide to run with McCain: Who wouldn’t want to pilot Air Force One, have Jack Bauer as Secretary of Defense, use beets as an alternative energy source, or have a flame thrower and an Iron Man outfit? What say you? Dwight Schrute for VP? I checked NBC’s website and it doesn’t look like they’re actually selling those T-shirts. That’s a shame.
