Girls Season 3 Production Video Looks Like A Day At The Beach, Hello Ladies Gets A Second Teaser

With True Blood wrapped up, does that mean that it's time for Girls to return? Um, not quite. We have to wait until 2014 for Lena Dunham's HBO comedy series to make its way back to us with new episodes. But HBO did share a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the series' upcoming season. The production video manages to avoid showing actual video by instead throwing snapshots of the show's production up on the screen, which give us a glimpse of the comedy's cast, including Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, Adam Driver and recurring guest star Andrew Rannells.

From the snapshots, it looks like Season 3 might be a day at the beach. Or more literally, that there might be some kind of beach excursion for the titular girls. There were a number of beachy-looking scenes amongst the photos, including one that showed off a seriously amazing ab situation for Allison Williams, and this one, which shows Dunham with her cell phone:

Girls returns for Season 3 in 2014. In the meantime, those who want to own Season 2 on DVD/Blu-ray can do so, as the series' second season is now available for purchase.

Moving on to another HBO series coming up, there's new comedy Hello Ladies, which is due to debut next month. Here's the second teaser for the HBO series co-created by and starring the hilariously awkward Stephen Merchant

Breaking away from his frequent partner in comedy, Ricky Gervais (The Office, The Ricky Gervais Show), Merchant has created Hello Ladies alongside Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. As you can see by the teaser, the series stars Merchant as a man who's not nearly as charming as he thinks he is or wants to be. Since a screenshot's not going to cut it, here's a gif of one of the funnier moments in the preview. The smooth "casually lean against the cooler" move goes terribly wrong…

I love a good bit of physical humor. And I also think Merchant's pretty great, so hopefully Hello Ladies proves to be a winner. Hello Ladies premieres Sunday, September 29 at 10:30 p.m. ET on HBO.
