New Hannibal Teaser Introduces Hugh Dancy's FBI Profiler Will Graham

There are only a few weeks left before one of America's most iconic villains, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, makes his small screen debut on NBC and, after keeping audiences in the dark for quite some time, the network has finally rolled out a few thrilling looks at the horror prequel. The teasers have ranged from severed hands holding ringing phones to playful nods to the cannibal's 'secret,' all the footage so far has done a great job hyping Hannibal without really showing much from the upcoming series.

NBC released another tasty morsel over the weekend and this preview might be the best one yet. And not just because it opens with the 'viewer discretion is advised' warning, although that doesn't hurt, but since it spends time introducing the show's lesser known lead, Hugh Dancy's Investigator Will Graham. Here's the new spot, "A Killer Reborn"...

Like I said, it's a great trailer and Dancy looks up to the challenge of playing the really interesting and complex character at the heart of Hannibal. He's one of my favorite characters from pulp fiction and I can't wait to see Bryan Fuller's twisted interpretation on the tortured protagonist of Thomas Harris' "Red Dragon." Oh, and Mads Mikkelson looks pretty good too.

Hannibal premieres Thursday, April 4 at 10:00 p.m. ET on NBC. Adapted from Thomas Harris celebrated novels, the series was created by Bryan Fuller and stars Hugh Dancy, Mads Mikkelsen, Laurence Fishburne, Caroline Dhavernas, Gina Torres and Anna Chlumsky.
