The Jenny McCarthy Show Gets Seven More Episodes

There's good news and bad news for Jenny McCarthy fans. The bad news is, those hoping the former Singled Out host would take over for Joy Behar on The View will be disappointed to learn that that's not happening. But the good news is, McCarthy's unavailability for the daytime talk show spot is due to her commitment to her VH1 talk show, which has received an order for seven more episodes.

There was apparently talk that McCarthy might be in the running to fill Behar's chair on The View, however Deadline says McCarthy shot down those rumors, stressing her focus on her own series. But it sounds like she will make guest appearances on the ABC talk show in the future. In the meantime, Deadline also reports that VH1 has added seven episodes onto its original order for McCarthy's talk show, The Jenny McCarthy Show. The last of the originally ordered episodes for the Friday series is set to air Friday, March 29. The series will return with the first of its additional seven episodes on Friday, April 12 at 10:30 p.m.

The talk show has the goofy and beautiful McCarthy exercising her candidness as she interviews people of interest. In the clip below, she chats it up with Jersey Shore's Snooki and Jwoww. The conversation is NSFW!

The above clip alone is probably evidence enough to argue that McCarthy would be better off sticking with VH1 where she probably gets a bit more leeway in subject matter than she might on a daytime panel talk show.
