Prison Break's Dominic Purcell To Guest Star On USA's Common Law

Those of us who loved Prison Break now have one more reason to look forward to USA’s upcoming new buddy cop drama Common Law. Dominic Purcell (a.k.a. Lincoln Burrows) is set to guest star in the series.

Common Law will star Michael Ealy and Warren Cole as two detectives in Los Angeles whose working partnership needs work, resulting in them going to therapy together. Sonya Walger is set to play their therapist. According to Huffington Post, Dominic Purcell is set to play “John Crowell, a swaggering detective who works for the LAPD's Special Investigative Services.” Crowell apparently has something to do with the incident that landed Ealy and Cole’s characters in therapy in the first place. His appearance will take place during the season finale.

It’s a bit soon to start thinking about the season finale of Common Law, considering the drama hasn’t even premiered yet. USA originally had it set to premiere this January, but then delayed the premiere to this summer in the hopes of drawing a larger audience.

Purcell joining as a guest star is certainly great news, and yet another reason to anticipate this new series.

Common Law premieres May 11. Check out the trailer here.
