Rebel Wilson And Friends Hit The Town In Super Fun Night Trailer
This fall on ABC, Rebel Wilson's having a Super Fun Night. As you may have noticed in the trailer, fun is a relative term, but what's clear is that shenanigans will ensue, which - at the very least - will translate to funny for viewers as Wilson and her co-stars Liza Lapira and Lauren Ash play three best friends who aim to have a super fun night every Friday night. It's a ritual the trio have had for thirteen years, but times may be changing when Wilson's Kimmie lands a big promotion.
Here's the official description for the series, which has been given a prime spot in ABC's Wednesday night comedy block, following Modern Family.
As the description mentions, Kelen Coleman is also among the cast. Not only did she make us laugh in her recurring role as Isabel in The Office, but she also recently appeared in HBO's The Newsroom and Fox's The Mindy Project.
Super Fun Night seems to be a shift away from the family-focused comedy we've come to see on ABC on Wednesday night, but it certainly looks funny enough. As a fan of Wilson (Bridesmaids, Pitch Perfect), i was on board the moment I heard she was doing a TV show. The trailer lives up to the expectations fans have probably set, knowing her goofy, awkward and fearless brand of humor.
ABC has Super Fun Night scheduled to air Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. ET. Check out the full ABC Fall 2013 schedule here.
