New Trailer For Showtime's Homeland

Following tonight’s season finale of The Borgias, Showtime aired a new trailer for their upcoming series Homeland. Set to premiere this fall, Homeland stars Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Mandy Patinkin.

Homeland is a thriller that follows a CIA offecer (Danes) who believes the recently recovered prisoner of war (Lewis) may actually be part of a terrorist plot. This trailer is about two minutes shorter than the preview video released last month, however this one definitely has a more intense pace to it.

HOMELAND, a one-hour drama, is a psychological thriller starring Claire Danes as a CIA officer who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of a U.S. soldier (Damian Lewis) who had been missing and presumed dead was a set-up and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. Mandy Patinkin plays a veteran CIA Division Chief who is her boss and mentor. HOMELAND is written by Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa and Gideon Raff will be produced by FOX 21.
