Veep Season 2 Teaser Shows Selina Meyer And Her Team On The Move
Game of Thrones isn't the only series returning to HBO for a new season in the near future. Though we'll have to wait a couple of weeks longer to see political comedy Veep back on the air. In the meantime, HBO has released a new teaser, which shows us Selina Meyer and her dream-team staff. Check it out ahead.
Veep stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the Vice President of the United States. Anna Chlumsky plays her chief of staff Amy Brookheimer. Tony Hale plays Gary Walsh, her personal aide. Matt Walsh plays Mike McLintock, the veep's director of communications. Reid Scott plays Dan Egan, the deputy director of communications. And Sufe Bradshaw plays Sue Wilson, the veep's personal assistant. In the teaser below, we see Selina looking smashing in red and confident as she strolls down the corridor, slowly joined by her team.
They assemble like super heroes on a mission. But, as cool and confident as they all look, it isn't enough to get them past the wall of Secret Service that assembles in a flash when the President arrives. And that's when we see Jonah Ryan (Timothy Simons), the White House liaison, who occasionally crosses that "wall" to work with (and irritate) the veep and her people. And doesn't he look smug trailing behind the president. I love Tony Hale's irritated expression in response to that.
Veep Season 2 premieres Sunday, April 14 at 10:00 p.m. ET on HBO.
