ABC Shows On Your IPad? There's An App For That
If you were one of the folks standing in line for an iPad last week, you're probably still learning your way around the latest gadget of the moment. One feature you may or may not have discovered? According to the Hollywood Reporter, Disney has an app that extends ABC's video player through the iPad, letting you watch the network's shows on the go on a screen actually big enough to make it worth bothering with.
This product synchronicity isn't surprising, since Apple CEO Steve Jobs is on ABC's board of directors. The iPad also enjoyed a little friendly product placement earlier this month when the device was featured in an episode of ABC's hit sitcom Modern Family. An episode which, presumably, you will now be able to stream onto the very device it was hyping, likely creating some sort of rift in space-time. This is your legacy, Apple. You've doomed us all!
