Alien Raiders Invade WB's Raw Feed Line
Warner Home Video is having a lot of luck with their “Raw Feed” line of releases, which has appealed to horror fans with Rest Stop and Otis in previous releases. Now it’s adding to that line with Alien Raiders, a sci-fi/horror flick about an alien invasion and the battle for human survival that accompanies it.
Starring Carlos Bernard (24), Jeff Licon (Mysterious Skin), and Courtney Ford (Lie to Me), Alien Raiders takes place at closing time in an idyllic family grocery store, which suddenly finds itself under siege. But the masked militants that take over the place turn out not to be terrorists or robbers, but scientists looking for aliens that can only be found within. Who in the grocery store is the alien enemy? They’ll find out at any cost.
Okay, so the description is a little silly and the title is as mundane as a Sci-Fi Channel offering, but I’ve actually heard pretty good buzz around this one. It might be worth checking as it comes to DVD on February 17th.
