Into The Blue 2 Dives Straight To DVD
Because we really needed a second Into the Blue, another group of hot young treasure hunters are venturing out to sea. On April 21st, MGM Home Entertainment brings you Into the Blue 2: The Reef on DVD.
Sebastion (Chris Carmack) and Dani (Laura Vandervoot) run a small scuba business in Hawaii, but often hunt for sunken treasure in their free time. They hope to one-day find the loot that will allow them to live on the beach of their choice in bliss for the rest of their lives. What seems to be a hopeless hobby turns into a serious pursuit after they meet a wealthy couple willing to fund their efforts. What begins as an innocent experience enjoying their new friends’ lavish lifestyle turns into the discovery of ulterior motifs and extreme danger.
It is very fitting to have this film makes its debut on DVD and not in the theater. This film is simply a guilty pleasure and I don’t mean the raunchy comedy, chick flick kind of guilty pleasure. Into the Blue 2 falls into the specific category of being able to be enjoyed only by the individuals who obsessed over the original film or those who are dying to see Audrina Patridge in a bathing suit. For those of you who can be placed in one or both of those categories, you might also enjoy the bonus material, which includes the “All Wet” featurette, “Run For Your Life” featurette and the “Back To The Beach” music video.
This will be $26.98 that I will keep in my wallet. Thanks to Open Water I’ll probably never go scuba diving, but this one might keep me from going to the beach all together.
