Can Love Conquer All In I've Loved You So Long?
Il y a longtemps que je t'aime. Don’t worry; there are subtitles. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment brings you the French drama I’ve Loved You So Long on DVD and Blu-ray March 3rd.
After 15 years in prison, Juliette Fontaine (Kristin Scott Thomas) is sent back into the real world. Fragile and troubled, Juliette moves in with her estranged sister Lea (Elsa Zylberstein) and attempts to put her life back together. Even though she didn’t win the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, her performance did get Thomas the European Film Award for Best Actress.
I can’t lie; sometimes I have trouble appreciating a movie with subtitles. I’ve always thought of myself as an impressive multitasker but when it comes to watching a screen and reading dialogue I fail miserably. It’s a good thing the bonus material includes an English version of the film, which features the voice of Kristen Scott Thomas. The bonus material also includes some deleted scenes with optional commentary from director Philippe Claudel.
You can pick up I’ve Loved You So Long on Blu-ray for $39.95 or on DVD for 28.96.
