Broken Lizard’s Beerfest hits DVD shelves this Tuesday, December 5th in one of the quickest theater to DVD turn-arounds recently (Beerfest was released in theaters in late August – doesn’t it feel like only yesterday?). The movie is getting both an “R-Rated” and Unrated DVD release and will probably find bigger success in the home theater market (where fans can create all sorts of drinking games to accompany the film) than it did in theaters.
How better to celebrate the release of Beerfest than with a “Belchfest”? LiveDigital has started the first ever online, digital Belchfest competition where they are asking fans to fire up their webcams and let the belches rip. Even better, the contest winners don’t get a copy of Beerfest - they get an iPod Nano!
